Trudy's fourth Skills and Careers Fair has been hailed as a success.
Over 100 people attended the event, held at Whitehaven Civic Hall, in which 34 exhibitors showcased the range of career options available.
Trudy and her team have received positive feedback from visitors and stallholders at Friday’s event.
Trudy said: “I’d like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who supported the event. We had a good mix of attendees, from young people exploring their future options, to jobseekers and those looking to retrain or change careers.
“The exhibitors showcased the range and quality of career options available here in Copeland; from health to tourism, leisure to the environment, emergency services to the arts, and of course, nuclear and the vast supply chain.
“I’d also like to thank Cumbria Deaf Association and Team Autism for supporting the event, and to Whitehaven Civic Hall for being fabulous hosts.”
